| can go for morning jog and see horse being born because of country location
can be next door to horse racing stud and cattle farm and sheep farm
lots of vegetable growers
your neighbours drop of buckets of vegetables and fruit
you know your neighbours for 1/2 hour in every direction
you can ride your horse for a day without coming across another person
great little creek that runs through the place - Gingin brook
Good community support in emergencies eg, fire | 1 1/2 hours from any emergency facilities
ambulance service in gingin run by volunteers so it would take 3/4 hour for them to get to us
too many flies - the biting ones which kill the horses and cattle
when you cant drive as a child there are no buses so cant get anywhere
You have to cycle a long way just to get to your friends house | its a good place to grow up when you're young but once you hit the age where you want to access tafe, better high school options etc, your options are limited and you may have to leave family home to access these basic things |
