| Albany Secondary Education Support Centre (ASESC) creates a caring and supportive learning environment, where the rights and responsibilities of the individual are respected, thus encouraging students to reach their potential. ASESC is co-located on the North Albany Senior High School (NASHS) campus and caters for students with disabilities from year 8 - 13, or the year they turn 18. ASESC currently has 53 students, including 10 Noongar students, enrolled over two campuses, the main one being on the NASHS site, the other, a Learning Centre or satellite class at Albany Senior High School (ASHS.) All our students are considered to be at educational risk. All students learning is outcome based using Individual Education Plans, which are collaboratively developed by parents/carers, the student's class teacher, and in some cases the school psychologist, an education assistant or other stakeholders. | ||||
