Kew High School is a co-educational school for students of Years 7-12. The school has approximately 1000 students with 45% female and 55% male. Demand for enrolment at Year 7 is in excess of available places.

Kew has established a firm reputation for providing a secure environment and high quality learning experiences to help all students achieve their full potential.

The focus of the school is on teaching and learning.

What makes the school distinctive is the range of programs, the development of relationships, the involvement of our students in the life of the school and the manner in which groups interact harmoniously.

The emphasis on sport and music is reflected in the growth of the concert band and other ensembles and in the high participation rate of students in sport at all levels. The VET programs provide wider choice for students and the expanded VCE allows Year 10 students to take on VCE subjects. The Quest program and electives offer opportunties for extension and enrichment.
