| The College is the largest school in Ballarat with more than 1500 students. It has three campuses - two Year 7 to 10 junior campuses at East and Wendouree and a Years 11 and 12 centrally located senior campus in Barkly Street. Recently over $7 million has been spent on upgrading our outstanding facilities and buildings. The multi campus structure provides the advantages of both a large school and a small school. There is a clear focus to extend each student through providing a very comprehensive curriculum, supported by relevant up-to-date teaching practices. Students have many opportunities to enjoy learning and to reach their full potential in classroom studies, in sport and with their social development. As well as the broad and flexible curriculum, the College offers personal development experiences such as participation in Police Cadets, the RACV Energy Breakthrough, camping, music and student forums and conferences such as the Canberra Constitutional Convention. The College is one of the seven Novell Schools of Excellence in Victoria. It has invested more than $3 million in an expanding network of computers throughout each campus. Information Technology has become an integral component of all learning areas providing students with easy access to computers. Throughout the College students have developed outstanding computer skills, which will markedly assist employment opportunities. The College offers the best of both worlds. We have the benefits of a large College with a broad and flexible curriculum to meet the needs and aspirations of our students. Also with three separate campuses we offer the pastoral care and individual attention available in a smaller College. The College is fortunate to have caring and supportive staff with a genuine interest in the students and their education.
