Derrimut Heath P.S. is a Primary School of 614 students located in Hoppers Crossing, a fast growing suburb of Wyndham, west of Melbourne and close to the main highway to Geelong. The school is very proud of its practical,functional buildings and well-maintained grounds. It is also an active member of the local community of schools in the Wyndham network with several members of staff leading curriculum networks.

Teachers provide a rich, student centred, integrated curriculum with daily programs dedicated to literacy and numeracy development and weekly programs in The Arts, PE and Library. The special learning needs of many students are catered for with a highly effective and efficient Program for Student with Disabilities, as well as Reading Recovery, Language Support, Bridging the Gap and Individual Learning Plans. There has also been a commitment to empower the whole school community to access, effectively utilise and embrace ICT. Derrimut Heath P.S is:

Overall:

Parents, teachers and students across both campuses work well together.

New campus needs groundwork - in process.

Excellent educational facility.

Overall:

New buildings r nice but there is still lots of things missing

Some of the staff r fantastice but some r hopeless like all schools I guess

cant just rely on new buildings to be popular has to sort out the problems b4 u bet my vote
