| Woodlupine Primary School was established in 1978 and is situated on extensive grounds in a park land corridor in Forrestfield. The school caters for 515 students from kindergarten to year seven. The majority of staff are very experienced and have a long and productive association with the school community. Woodlupine Primary School enjoys a strong reputation in the local and wider community and we regularly receive applications for enrolment from families living outside the local intake area. The school motto 'Through Learning to Life' is manifest in the approach taken to learning and teaching at this school. We believe that every child, regardless of background, can learn and that those students with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude to learning will experience success. The core values of the Curriculum Framework are made explicit through a school wide program that reinforces these values and acknowledges students for displaying them. Our staff have a very caring approach to students and focus on providing educational programs that match student needs. We also have a highly effective Students at Educational Risk team that supports teachers and parents to meet the needs of all students. Staff and parents work in partnership to provide a safe and supportive environment for students. There are clear expectations of student behaviour and these are consistently reinforced across the school. Woodlupine Primary School has a strong focus on the arts. Students in years one and two participate in a high quality drama and dance program while students in years three to seven are involved in an excellent social dance program. Our music specialist works with students from years three to seven and the school choir performs at a number of venues throughout the year. Students also have the opportunity to learn to play instruments through the School of Instrumental Music. Other specialist areas are Indonesian and Physical Education. Students have access to Information and Communication Technology via computers in classrooms and a computer laboratory. Parent support and involvement is integral to the effectiveness of the Woodlupine School Community. A vital Parents and Citizens Association raises funds for school programs and parent participation in the School Council ensures rich input to decision making. | ||||

| The Dance programme for years 3 -7. This is fantastic and in corporates instruction from Humphries dance studio | Nothing comes to mind specifically | My children have experienced fantastic progress iin the two years they have attended this woodlupine. As a whole i have found the staff very friendly and approachable st all times. I have enjoyed being an involved parent with my childrens schooling. | ||
