Verdict - quite positive rating.

Compare with all other primary schools.
Established in 1967 West Morley Primary School is situated in a quiet cul de sac surrounded by large trees and plentiful grassed areas for general play and sporting activities. It is a multicultural school with students from 12 countries and has around 140 students. Inclusivity is a feature of the school with an ethos of a small family oriented school where students and staff know each other well.

The school has a covered assembly area which is integrated with the canteen. It opens up onto the oval, adventure playground and basketball court areas. The school has a well equipped library/resource building, which is automated. In 1999 the Intensive Language Centre re-located from Hillcrest Primary School and now occupies the northern wing of West Morley Primary School. The students share facilities such as the canteen, covered assembly area, music/art room, toilets and playground as well as collaboratively joining in with various incursions and assemblies. Using computer technology is a priority and all classrooms are well equipped in this regard.

The school is supported by a strong, active parent group. The family/community ethos is highly valued. Parents support the school in many ways including helping run special programs, assisting in classrooms, fundraising and being involved in school decision making processes.

The school operates an interclass buddy system and children come together with their buddies a number of times each term. The school has a special focus on art with all children engaged in this program each week. An active after school sports program operates twice a week and is a feature of the school physical education program. The school also has a focus on higher order thinking skills which allows further extension for all students. Pastoral care is linked in with the behavioural and values program and is a responsibility shared by all staff.

The school purpose is to develop the cognitive, physical and creative potential of all students in a supportive and meaningful environment. This will ensure that students can develop skills and values which will enable them to achieve their full potential. This will also enable them to maximize their educational opportunities and to develop self discipline and self worth as a member of the community.

there are a few disabled kids in our school but the teachers and kids always make them feel happy and cheerfull!west morleys a small school though it may be small but we are a big family!!they always have fun sporting activities fun week for the year sevens every year a great playground, libray, kindergarden rooms and class rooms.when ever the kids come back to school from weekends theres always skid marks of cars, graffitee and more done to the school but its notthe schools fault we've putt'n few steel fences around to keep the cars out but the government took the school security cameras away and gave them to another school so now we cant know whos been doing all this vandalising!the government should see whats going on i mean come on the kids deserve more and so do the staff!!all the kids are happy and love coming to school but i think the government should be rethinking of putting the cameras back
