Every class has a minimum of two computers as well as access to two minilabs, with 6-8 computers in each cluster. An extensive environmental programme runs across the school that consists of recycling cans, ringtops to build wheelchairs, worm farms and many other efforts to raise environmental awareness. This extends to the care of the bush area surrounding the school and a programme that gives children the skills to grow native plants. A society called 'The Friends of Weld Square Bush', which has several community representatives, is active in the area. Support and approval from the Council ensures that it is active throughout the year. The school has also implemented an extensive 'Peer Mediator' program to build self-management and resiliency in the students. This program compliments our Values/Virtues program that has been running for several years. | ||||

| Weld Square have loyal and excellant teachers. The environmental programs are first class : recycling/reusing and a bushland to manage. | Inadequate funding from the State government for building maintenance and facilities. | A great school that could be made better if the government provided the appropriate resources!! | ||
