| South Newman Primary School was established in 1976. The school commenced with 175 students and rapidly grew to over 500 students. Today the average population is around 450 students from Kindergarten to Year 7. Our students come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds including European, Aboriginal, Asian and African. The students participate in a wide variety of outcomes based learning activities with specialist teachers currently teaching Science, Japanese, Choir and Physical Education. School staff care about the students and strive to make everyday an enjoyable learning experience. The school is well resourced and well supported by the community and industry. There is an active P&C Association and School Council. | ||||
