| Rockingham Beach Primary School is located in what has been recognized as the oldest residential district in the City of Rockingham. Extensive redevelopment along the Rockingham Beach foreshore and the advancement of the City of Rockingham / Landcorp Village Green Precinct and the Palm Beach Anchorage Estate has had an impact on the demographics of the school. Co-located on campus is Rockingham Beach Education Support Centre. A positive relationship exists between the two school based on a common focus on improving the education of our students. At the end of term one our Kindergarten program was relocated to the school site with the closure of the off-site Yaringa facility. In 2005, the school provided programmes for approximately 370 students from Kindergarten (4 year olds) through to Year 7, across fourteen classrooms. Due to increased enrolments the school was provided with a demountable classroom to accommodate an additional primary class. Students from years one to seven accessed Specialist Programmes in Music, Physical Education and Indonesian. During 2005 our students were successful in the cricket, hockey, girls' basketball, athletics and swimming interschool carnivals. Our junior and senior choirs performed at local music festivals and at various assemblies. The School is staffed with caring and experienced people. In 2005 the school became a 'local merit selection' school which allows it to advertise for and appoint its own teaching staff. At Rockingham Beach Primary School our purpose is: To ensure students develop understandings, skills and attitudes relevant to individual needs, thereby enabling them to fulfil their potential and contribute to the development of our society. The ethos of our school is demonstrated in our commitment to ensure: 1 Students work and develop in a positive and encouraging environment. 2 Students are provided with opportunities and look forward to each year with optimism. 3 Students develop as individuals. 4 Students respect the community, the environment and themselves. | ||||

| Grounds are well-maintained. | Very poor management of bullying. Very bad communication between principal, deputy principals and staff. | Nice school if your child is not happy and popular and targeted by bullies for being so. | ||
