| Sedately nestled within native scrublands, Quinns Rocks Primary School is a school with a well founded sense of community and family. Built in 1980 and featuring traditional school buildings that are the oldest construction in a rapidly growing suburb. The enrolment intake area comprises the Old Quinns development which provides a diverse population range and is characterised by a relatively low transient rate. Staff are welcoming, personable professionals, who in the majority of cases, are experienced and long serving in the local school community. Quinns Rocks Primary School is committed to providing a holistic, inclusive and relevant education for each child that will provide a strong foundation for future learning in a rapidly changing and diverse society. School programs are underpinned by a set of values complementary to the school and local community. Focus on developmental learning in the key learning areas of Literacy and Numeracy is strengthened by a collaborative approach by staff across all phases of learning. The Music program provides opportunities for instrument tuition through the School of Instrumental Music and School Band and participation in choral activities and musical productions. A spirited physical education program complements the community based sporting groups and encourages participation through a range of intraschool and interschool activities. A pastoral care program is highlighted by well established processes in student management with a consistency in both understanding and application. Students are offered a variety of leadership opportunities through the student council, faction leaders, peer mediation program and in technical support. The school/community partnership has been well established over the twenty six years of history and continues to provide a strong connectedness and ownership. The School Volunteer Program, together with ongoing parent participation at a student interface level, complement the learning opportunities provided. | This school is great!! I love it, it has loving and caring teacher who have a joke but make sure the work is done. | It needs a little fixing up, not much though. | Great school !!!!!!! | ||

| the teachers are kind and committed to a healthy positive learning experience. they all do their best with the facilities provided. the admin support is excellent always helpful, friendly and respectful. the teachers are happy to join in and dress up for fun acivities and assembley's. | school is a little run down, but there are plans to improve this. the gardens and grounds are well maintained and looking much improved over the last year. last year there was an extension program which was fantastic for kids who needed more challanging work, this year has it not happened as not enough teachers to allow for the program. | my kids go off to school happy and come home happy. they laugh and smile and tell me about their day at school. the teachers are very available and approachable, including the principal and the deputy principals. | ||
