Millen Primary School is located in the suburb of East Victoria Park approximately 10 kms from the Perth CBD. Millen Primary School draws its clientele from a diverse multicultural catchment area with 18% of students born in countries where English is not the first language and 15% of the students are Aboriginal.

Classroom teachers are all experienced and highly skilled. The skills and experience of the staff enable a diverse educational program to be offered. The teaching experience within the school is also utilised by state and international teaching institutions that regularly place students at Millen.

Clerical staff, Education Assistants and an Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer support the teaching staff and students at the school. In addition a nurse and school psychologist regularly service the school.

The school which opened in 1956 has extensive grounds and many mature trees to enhance the school environment.

The P&C and School Council are actively involved in the school and were responsible for the air conditioning of every classroom in the school.

The school offers a Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) Program, Getting It Right (English) and an active After School Sports Program.
