| Music and LOTE are the only things that were at all challanging for me, a former gifted student and I have heard ICT has dropped rock-bottom this year as there was a change in teachers. | Most of the time I was there I was constantly bullied, the work was easier than sleeping, we had numerous break-ins, lock-downs and the school's appearance is to this date quite shabby and litter and graffiti filled. There always seemed to be a shortage of computers and some of the teachers last year seemed to be bias towards certain students. After last year including me half of their PEAC students left the school. The one class that was even close to challenging was constantly interrupted by whom I would say to be the worst students on the face of the Earth! The behaviour of some of the children is absolutely appalling! They would swear at teachers, fight, do pathetic things like jumping into bins, and one year a student caused the whole class to flee the room in fear. I would like to add that PEAC is not something run by the school all they do is give us the test, which when I did it they didn't keep students in to finish and give you the forms from PEAC late. | Overall MPS is a pretty terrible school which I would only recommend to students who are hoping to which doesn't require much of an education and is filled with some of WA's worst whom anyone who wants to learn has to put up with. | ||

| there isn't anything good. | I would not send your children to this school, it would have to be the worse school I have ever seen. Everything the last report says is true. The school is not safe and it this dosn't seem to worry the staff. If something happens to your child at Merriwa school the staff are more worried about covering there ass then the well being of your children. | Avoid if you can. | ||

| Merriwa primary is a good school. It provides a brilliant quality education. The gardens are neat and tidy. The teachers are nice, funny, happy and considerate. The excursions are entertaining. All the classes have airconditioning!! The floor plan and size of rooms are quite large. | The discipline could be improved. The fences around the school make it look like a prison. some teachers arnt as good as the others. | Even though the news report about what happened around and inside the establishment, it is still one of the best schools in the northern coast district. It is going to be getting a 3.1m upgrade over the next few years. I would definetly send my kids there when i am older. | ||
