| The Marble Bar community consists of a small percentage of long term residents of European decent, a small group of transient government workers and two Aboriginal groups - Goodabinya and Pipunyah. Students from the Mirtunkarra community, which is located 15 kms from town attend Marble Bar PS. 85a0of students are of Aboriginal descent. Climatic conditions are extreme, however the surrounding country is devastatingly beautiful. The school has an operational School Council ( 5 Parents, 2 staff, 1 Community member and Principal). Current school buildings were constructed in 1968. A new Administration block was completed in 2004. | ||||
