| PROFILE Jandakot Primary School serves the rapidly growing residential locality of Success approximately 25 km south of Perth alongside the Kwinana Freeway. School enrolment is growing and is approaching 500. The school values it experienced and committed teaching and support staff who are appointed to a range of full and part-time positions. Student and Curriculum Support Services are provided by the Fremantle/Peel District Education Office. The school environment is clean, green and well maintained. Building design is unique and is based on the aviation theme acknowledging the importance of Jandakot's light aircraft industry. The school shares the campus with the Jandakot Education Support Centre. We are proud of being highly regarded by our school community for the values of inclusion, acceptance and tolerance that we demonstrate. In line with our school motto 'Fly High Seek Success', we are committed to providing all children with the opportunity and support to achieve their potential and to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to contribute successfully to a rapidly changing society. We are firmly committed to the principles and values of the Curriculum Framework. Specialist programs operate in Music, Science, Physical Education and LOTE( Italian). Continuation of the Aussie Optimism Program and inclusion in the Department of Education and Training's Learning Support Initiative and Behaviour Management Strategy, 2005 - 2006, will further enhance the school's capacity and responsiveness in relation to the learning and developmental needs of its students. The school encourages, and regularly acknowledges, students' academic, sporting, cultural and creative achievements. It also values and continually rewards good school citizenship displayed by students. Strong links are enjoyed with the local community, the very creative and supportive Parents & Citizens Association and the enthusiastic and effective School Council. Importantly, the school prides itself on the welcoming, safe, caring, friendly and supportive environment it provides those who are associated with it. | ||||

| Small school of around 500 students. Fantastic Deputy Principal, Mr Hastings. Very hands-on with the kids and involved in all areas of the school including the P&C and Parents. | Lack of cover in the Pre-Primary/Kindy area. Graffiti & break-ins occur most weekends. | Love this school! Teachers are fantastic. | ||

| Energetic, friendly Principal and staff who are there for the children. Enthusiastic and active P&C Committee. Canteen that operates under the traffic light system for healthy food. Fitness sessions first thing Mon-Wed for all students - this is on top of their normal sports. | None about the school itself. Some parents ignore school guidelines and Council laws for parking | Would not hesitate to recommend the school to anyone. | ||
