| Hocking Primary School opened in February 2008 in the suburb of Hocking, north of Perth. Construction of this new school began in mid 2007. The new school achieved an initial enrolment of approximately 350 students. This number is likely to increase throughout the foundation years of the school in line with housing trends in the area. The school caters for K-7 students as from 2008. The staff at the school have been primarily merit selected in line with the DET policy and the vision and educational needs of the school. A range of expertise in a variety of areas will be offered to students and families who attend the school. Curriculum delivery are in line with current DET initiatives and supported by the resources and ICT infrastructure of a new school. Hocking Primary has a Music specialist, Physical Education specialist and LOTE (Indonesian) specialist who offer top class curriculum for our students. The school has elected to focus significant energies on the ever developing area of ICT and teachers, students and parents have access to the latest equipment in this area. Each Learning Area has interactive whiteboards installed to allow in class access for all. Laptops and desktops installed in all learning areas ensure that full use is made of the wireless network. | ||||

| Opened 20008, allstaff selected on merit. Fun and supportive atmoshere. Strong focus on Technology with electronic whiteboards in every classroom. Whole school vakues focus | Not air conditioned | Great kids and staff very focuses on helping all do their best. | ||
