In 2007 specialist programmes in Music, LOTE: Italian(years 1 - 5) and Indonesian (years 6 & 7), and Physical Education have valued added to already high quality education programs. Athough Forrestdale is a small school, it has many talented students and offers innovative programs, for example: - Forrestdale is the only school to win the Numero competition more than once, having won it in 2002, 2003 and 2005 and being declared a runner up in 2006. - At the Interschool Carnivals in 2006 Forrestdale won the Cross Country and Handicap Shields against some much bigger schools.
