Compare with all other primary schools.
The East Victoria Park Primary School was first established in 1914 on Albany
Highway and was re-established on its present site in 1977.The school buildings cater for two kindergarten, two pre-primary and 11 year one to seven classes. The school has extensive and attractive grounds, a resource centre, music room, computer laboratory, general multi-purpose room, assembly area and canteen.

We have a reputation for being a very positive and happy school and we work hard at maintaining this school tone. Our staff is very stable, vibrant and energetic and work very much as a team.

There are a number of special programmes operating at the school:
* The Million Trees project has been operating for the last 11 years. It is a programme in which the year 5 students and parent helpers grow several thousand trees from seed in our shade house. In June the trees are taken to Merredin and planted and the children have a taste of country life over the four day camp. In 1997 this programme won the John Tonkin Landcare Award and it was a finalist in the 2004 WA Environmental Awards and won the Town of Victoria Park's Community Group of the Year Award 2005.
* A whole school Health and Well-Being programme that fosters self awareness and empowerment, critical thinking, creative imagination and interpersonal skills. In 2002 the group version of this programme won the WA Health and Well-Being Award.
* The school band is a proud and important part of the music programme. It is a performance orientated band and has been performing since 1961. A real interest and commitment to the programme is the only criteria for entry for this and the school choir.
* Our ICT programme is outstanding and has been used to showcase best practice models to teachers from across the State. We offer classes for parents who wish to up-grade their computer. A radio station (EVPFM 90.9) is run as part of this programme.

We share the school campus with an Education Support Centre which caters for approximately 30 students with disabilities. The two schools work as one whenever practicable and integration of both populations is seen by the school community as highly desirable and benefiting both populations of students.

Parents are involved in many aspects of the school. They are very supportive and interested in their children's education. The school has an active P&C and School Council.
