| Surrounded by leafy trees, Coolbinia Primary School has large oval spaces to accommodate the entire school. The Kindergarten is offsite (one street away) in a separate building and is surrounded by open space. It is fully fenced, with its own parking area. Significant capital works should improve the physical facilities, including the library which is severely in need of an upgrade. | Coolbinia has had quite a few principals over the last few years. The current principal should be staying a while, providing some stability within the school leadership. Administrative staff do not always greet visitors in a warm and friendly manner. Families that contribute to the Coolbinia School Community are its greatest asset. At present, the Kindergarten and PrePrimary teachers are exceptional. Generally, the quality of teaching at Coolbinia is average, with teachers appearing to lack the ability to cater for individual students' needs. Extension opportunities are not provided within general classroom teaching while students that do not 'fit the mould' will tend to be ignored. Coolbinia Primary School lacks a school hall. | Located in a beautiful suburb Coolbinia Primary School is not all it can be. A good school experience largely depends upon the classroom teacher. At present, it is a matter of luck as to whether or not a child has a wonderful teacher, or whether the year is virtually a write off. | ||
