School Information * Caladenia Primary School was built for an estimated total cost of $9.1M built on a 3.9 hectare site on the corner of Bushy Gardens and Fraser Road North in Canning Vale. The school is located in the suburb of Canning Vale, around 15km South of Perth and is recognised as one of the fastest growing residential areas in Australia. With the significant growth in the area, it is expected that Caladenia PS will undergo significant change and expansion in a relatively short period of time. * The school's name is derived from the Grand Slipper Orchid - Huegel's Caladenia. An Australian terrestrial which has an erect, slender inflorescence, with solitary flowers. * The school colours are purple, navy blue and silver/white * Caladenia Primary School has 13 primary classrooms, 3 early childhood classrooms and is equipped with a specialist art/craft area, a canteen, a music room, a covered assembly area, library resource centre and administration and staff facilities. The school has infrastructure for the latest information communication technology, with fibre-optic cabling linking all blocks. SCHOOL VISION Caladenia Primary School is founded on the following belief. 'That a collaborative learning environment will prepare students to be competitive in the global work force of the 21st Century' This is achieved by students: * acquiring the skills and knowledge that will enable them to make decisions about their future and make positive contributions to society; * developing a Socio-emotional Framework for students to view challenges positively; * understanding their rights and responsibilities in relation to their physical health; * developing a values framework. * connecting to the school as a place that students value and feel valued. | The school has community focused education,great layout,exellent image and a different perspective to education. | The school needs to put more emphasis on environmental education. | The school is modern, well staffed and has a very bright future. | ||

| its a new school with new facilities. | canteen is not up and running. The receptionist has a poor attitude towards the childern and does not think it is her responsibility to provide a duty of care to the students during school hours. | i took my childern out of the school due to the lack of responsibility of staff members indangering young childerns lives. | ||

| alot nicer than excelsior down the road (think that ones for the poor people of canning vale )presentation just beatiful can get around with out getting drenched gorgouys uniforms | no canteen not alot of facilities yet but what can you expect from a new school they all have to start somewhere | very pretty school such a lot of potential for my kids im extatic with the hole potential of the great little school fanatastic family based school i give it 10/10 and thats not just cause my kids go there | ||
