| Bungaree Primary School was opened in 1969 and services the central area of the older part of Rockingham. It is a Level 5 Primary School, located near the Rockingham City Shopping Centre, and enjoys pleasant grounds and large garden, play and oval areas. The School receives strong support from our parent community, built on a strong tradition of community connection and involvement. Our Parents and Citizen Association is very active and makes a highly valued and important contribution to the supportive culture of the school. Specialist areas, such as the music, physical education and pastoral care programs, provide a major focus for our school community and are central to the school's teaching and learning program. Bungaree Primary currently houses two classes from the Peel Language Development Centre and a collaborative and supportive relationship is expected to be maintained and developed through our teaching and learning programs. OUR STUDENTS We enjoyed the opportunity to provide effective educational programs for an enrolment of 385 students from Kindergarten to Year 7 during 2006. Over the course of the year 45 new students were enrolled while 47 students left our school. We currently have an enrolment of 390 students. | Great moral ethics. Friendly staff, love the way they blend the school into the community. diverse range of learning attributes, always something fun happening at bungaree. Keep it up, Wonderful school. | Unfortunately keeps getting attacked by rogue grafiti vandals. Nothing to do with the school though. | I will be sending all my kids there. Have tried two other schools in the rockingham area, this seems to definately be a better place to be. | ||
