| Ashdale Primary is in the Swan Education District located in the north-western suburbs of the Perth metropolitan area. The school attracts students from the suburbs of Darch and Madeley. Ashdale is currently a Level 5 school with approximately 850 students in K-7. Students are predominately in the K-4 years. A significant trend is the high enrolment of students with English as a second language and the cultural diversity of our students and families. Accommodation for the school includes: * Administration block * 15 classrooms with associated activity areas * 13 Demountable classrooms * Music Room * Visual Arts Room * Media Centre * Pre-primary and Kindergarten classrooms * Covered and enclosed assembly area and canteen * Courts, School oval with associated public open space facilities.Ashdale Primary School (A guiding vision) Ashdale Primary School will be a place of excellence where students will strive to achieve their full potential. The students of Ashdale will be the focus and they will know they are valued. The effectiveness of the school will be measured by the achievement, attitudes and character of the student's and the integral part the school plays in the community. Ashdale Primary School will endeavour to promote the vision of the Department of Education and Training, which, is committed to providing the opportunity for students to achieve the highest standards of learning possible, equipping them to deal effectively with all opportunities and challenges they may encounter. Students at Ashdale will be equipped with and confident in the use of new blends of skills and knowledge necessary to achieve their potential throughout their lives and develop the skills and capabilities necessary for life long learning. They will develop social and emotional resilience, supported by clear and effective pastoral care, which will provide all students with the belief in themselves to play an effective role in society and provide their families with the confidence that the school has an individual approach to optimising learning. All students will have access to quality education that will lead to successful learning outcomes. Individual differences will be identified and catered for, maximising each student's learning that will lead to all students achieving successful learning outcomes. Strong curriculum planning and pedagogy will provide the basis for quality instruction guided by the Principles of the Curriculum Framework. A strong outcomes focused pedagogy and knowledge of best practice will lead to the achievement of innovative and dynamic curriculum delivery. High priority will be placed on students participating in inclusive developmental educational programs that maximise their engagement and which will be celebrated frequently. There will be a clear focus on high standards of student achievement. Systematic assessment and reporting procedures will be carried out at the highest level, confirming performance and guiding the setting of future targets for the school. National and state-wide testing will be utilised. Evidence based approaches to improvement will be used to effectively plan and promote good collaborative decision-making. Ashdale Primary School will be technology smart and technology rich. Embedded technology in all teaching and learning programs using a strong pedagogical base will encourage transparent and effective learning outcomes. An on-line networked learning community will provide flexible delivery of a variety of learning opportunities. | We have 2 children at Ashdale Primary and the staff are so wonderful that I feel very at ease with them and they really do teach the kids wonderful values | Parking - there is not a lot of parking which makes the drop off and pick up hard (especially in Winter) | A great school | ||

| New school teacher are very focused and consistant. Facilities are modern and up to date. Kids have a school uniform which makes life easy. | Probably for me and my child is the no fencing and lack of tree's | Great school would encoraouge anyone living in the area to enroll there child | ||

| Ashdale is a great school, they have a strong focus on virtues and try hard to do a good job. | The school is very large and sometimes I think it is too big. | I believe Ashdale staff always try to do their best in all they do. | ||
