| At Coburn we offer a broad and stimulating curriculum. Literacy and Numeracy are our curriculum priorities, as well as preparing students to be respectful and responsible citizens. Our students have access to a wide range of specialist subjects including Performing Arts, LOTE (Italian) / Visual Art, Physical Education, Sport and Multimedia (Information Technology/Library). All classrooms are well equipped with computers and software to enhance student learning. The school's enrolment is approximately 350. At Coburn we pride ourselves on our attractive, stimulating environment, our high academic standards and our student welfare programs. We have just recently completed a major upgrade of our school- it is freshly painted and carpeted, with many student arts’ projects on display around the school. We have some great synthetic tiger turf areas for students to play on. Coburn Primary School has a waste paper recycling program. We have our own flourishing vegetable garden. Our students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of enrichment activities including extensive swimming programs, camps (every 2nd year) and excursions, sports activities and many incursions held within the school. For the last 3 years we have had very successful entries in the Junior Rock Eisteddfod. Coburn Primary School has developed strong links with the community. The school has a very active and supportive School Council and members of our school community are extremely active in classrooms, artwork initiatives and in garden projects. | ||||

| The teachers are friendly. the facilitys are clean and up to date. They have great family activitys. They have a variety of sports. | The children are bullies and there is a lack of dicipline from teachers. [name removed] is intimidating when he aurtherizes his power. Seems to be the only staff member authorizing any kind of dicipline although he is very tough. The social workers are overly concerned with familys wealfares and dont mind lieing about people and interfering in every new familys life even if they are wrong. | It was the worst school i have ever seen. Although the teachers are friendly they dont listen to the parents concerns. They put new childrens grades down in order to do testing to get them into the correct levels and the children suffer from low grades if they move as a result. They do this to all new familys and dont care if the parents tell them there children can do the task at hand they wont believe if you tell them that your child is being bullied. | ||

| Fantastic teaching staff and very friendly. A great school with so many age differences in the teaching staff. Classrooms are highly decorated with children’s work. All children are cared for and teachers love having a chat with parents. | I can honestly say that nothing is bad with this school. | Great school! I’d recommend to any parent to consider this school if living in the Melton region. | ||
