| Small class sizes. Caring, respectful, friendly and warm. Excellent cafe. | nothing bad about the school at all. | This is a lovely school that encourages tolerance of all people. It is very welcoming. The teachers are pleasant and cater to the children's needs. It is good to see that they do teach the old fashioned ideals of correct spelling and reading. The arts/music and sports program have improved significantly this year. The children become involved in a whole range of activities such as the new garden, looking out for each other in the playground, various clubs (cooking, craft, science, music, etc). The academic results for the younger section of the school (up to year 4) are very very good. The cafe/canteen is now under new management. Silvana runs it and offers a catering service as well. The menu on offer to the children and adults is healthy and the food is home-made Silvana. The kids now look forward to the home-cooked meals that she offers rather than junk food or sweets that were once available. Also it is now a common sight to see the parents enjoying a coffee after the school drop off with their younger children having a play. Very social and interactive. More schools should follow BNPS and Silvana's example. If you are in the Brunswick area and considering where to send your child to primary school, then please consider Brunswick North. Highly recommended. | ||||||||

| Caring staff Compulsory uniform Friendly atmosphere My children look forward to going to school Small enough that everyone knows who you are | None come to mind | The academic results are on the improve, the teachers really seem to care about making sure that the children can read and write. The staff are not afraid to flag children with possible problems and ensure they get the help they need as soon as possible. The school has a lovely caring attitude to all the students in their care, they are not just there to teach, the school really does care, they want to do the best for the children and their families. Younger children are welcome to hang about with their parents in the cafe after assembly. They play in the quadrangle and are to their older siblings' teachers, they are made to feel as much a part of the school as their siblings. It's a great place to be. | ||||||||
