The year 2000 has been an extremely busy and productive year culminating recently with attendance at the Opening Ceremony of the Paralympic Games. We are very fortunate in the wonderful support we receive from our School Community. Both the School Council and the P&C Association have worked together in raising funds so that we are able to provide excellent resources for our children. Our parents continue to work with us as Partners in Education throughout the year. I acknowledge the enormous contribution made by all staff members. We continue to benefit from our involvement in the Disadvantaged Schools Program. A further $20,000 has been spent on purchasing additional reading resources and providing extra staffing in this area. Our school is now in a most attractive physical state. With our comprehensive range of fitness and recreational equipment we have a very pleasant working environment. A regular feature of our school year is our annual musical production. This year we are rehearsing for performances of Grease.
