Our school aims to promote academic, social, physical and emotional development by providing each child with a stimulating and caring environment that caters for their learning needs. We aim to achieve this by: working closely with the school community; providing graded literacy groups and using Disadvantaged Schools Program (DSP) and Early Literacy Initiative (ELI) funds to resource these; providing a balanced learning program; having an attractive and functional physical environment; and promoting students working together. The school is an integral part of the Wellington community and participates in numerous events such as the ANZAC March, Vintage Fair, Wellington Show, Torch Relay, Henry Lawson Festival, 90th Anniversary of the Gould League, the high school reunion and Balloon and Bentley Bash.
