Warrawong Public School caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Disadvantaged Schools Program supported the school with extra funds in 2000. The students at the school come from a very ethnically diverse community - approximately 65% of them have a non-English speaking background. There are over 25 nationalities represented among the student population. Community Language programs operate in Macedonian and Italian. Two Special Education classes operate in the school. The school community is very supportive of school programs and practices. "Our purpose at Warrawong Public School is to provide a quality education so that all students have an equal opportunity to develop their full potential, learning together in a caring, multicultural environment". We believe in developing a caring community which encompasses equity, quality and participation.
