Thomas Acres Public School is a class 1 co-educational primary school located in Ambarvale, a suburb of Campbelltown. The school has a supportive Parents and Citizens Association and a School Council. Thomas Acres Public School consists of a basic 14 classroom school, with Administration Building, Library/Resource Centre, Canteen and Hall. Also on site are 12 demountable classrooms, linked by covered walkways. The school serves parts of Ambarvale, Rosemeadow and Glen Alpine. The school has successfully lobbied for a new bus service to bring students from the Glen Alpine area. This service will begin from the commencement of the 2001 school year.
