The mission statement of The Entrance Public School states that "The Entrance Public School seeks to provide quality education in a supportive and stimulating environment. Parents and teachers strive to work in collaboration to empower the students and support their endeavours and achievements. Ours is a school that promotes cooperation where children are encouraged to accept challenges and develop positive attitudes about themselves, others and their environment". The school is on two sites with major building works are currently being undertaken which will provide the school with a hall, a new canteen, twelve new classrooms, eight refurbished classrooms and a refurbished administration area. Once the building works are completed the school will be amalgamated onto a single site.
