Temora Public School is set in a rural community where traditional family moral and work values are evident. Most parents view education and schooling as important and Temora is seen as a friendly, open and welcoming community. The school is centrally located within the community, providing the opportunity to utilise facilities such as the town library, recreation centre and swimming pool in its educational programs. An active Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and School Council provide support and advice to the school. Important features of the school are the Motor Sensory Room, established to assist in the development of fine motor skills and the computer laboratory. The playground has been developed to provide a variety of play opportunities, while a well equipped library allows children to find a quiet area when needed. The computer laboratory is also available during the lunch breaks. The school aims to provide students the best possible opportunities to reach their full potential in a non threatening, educative environment with the major focus is on the development of the whole child. The school promotes self discipline, co-operation, mutual respect and responsibility.
