Telopea P.S. is a small school located in the eastern half of the Parramatta District. It has a young, committed staff and a strong, supportive parent body. Air-conditioned classrooms and well maintained grounds provide a pleasant learning environment for students. A well resourced school library with access to computer technology, including the internet, enhances students learning experiences. Before & After School Care facilities and a Community Playgroup are available at the school. The school community encompasses a diverse range of socio-economic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Telopea P.S. is part of the Priority Schools Funding Program - this year the school was re-assessed and will continue to be on the program until 2004. Parents and students are equal partners in the educational process at Telopea P.S. The school has a P&C Association and a School Council. The school's Student Representative Council forms the elected core of the School Parliament. This group is involved in addressing student concerns and taking initiatives on behalf of all students.
