Spring Terrace Public School was first established in 1869 and is one of the oldest in the local area, serving as a focal point for the rural community, present and past. Originally, the surrounding area was supported by agricultural pursuits and the children attending the <br /> school lived and worked on farms, although now the children who attend the school come from a wider area including Forest Reefs, Springside, Huntley, Lucknow and Orange. Students at Spring Terrace are given the opportunity to participate in a broad range of experiences across all key learning areas. Because of the size and nature of small schools, the students are supported as individuals in a 'family - like' environment, the parents' continued support and involvement in their children's education is valued in this partnership between home and school. This positive atmosphere enables the students to grow and develop as individuals and to achieve their best.
