Shalvey Public School is situated in western Sydney and draws the majority of its students from the local area. The school, established in 1974, has close ties with its community. It is our school's role to equip students of Shalvey with the highest quality learning experiences in all fields of endeavour, coupled with the ability to grow and learn as individuals who will take their place in society functioning as an independent and contributing member. Through commitment and professionalism, the staff aims to create a safe, happy and welcoming learning environment through an emphasis on student welfare programs. Students will be encouraged to participate in the decision making process.
