Rukenvale Public School is a small country school established to serve the educational needs of children from a diverse rural community. The school is fortunate in having a strong parent body which supports the school in the realisation of its educational goals. We endeavour to provide experiences which help to overcome isolation caused by economic and geographical factors, and programs which enable children to realise their potential academically, physically, socially and culturally. There is a focus on Basic Skills and Environmental Education. Our school is a community one which believes in well mannered children who are encouraged to think for themselves and work to the best of their ability.

| Small class sizes, great teachers that have continuously taught there for vast periods of time with patience and kindness.The outside ovals and play areas are large and fenced so that we had alot of room to run around, but that we felt safe in.I made alot of friends in the school that I have kept over the years,I would not hesitate to enrol my child there. | there really werent any bad things that I could comment on at all..I am only speaking from my experience as a student there, that left at the end of 1994 to attend Kyogle high, and not as a parent. | Everyone involved always seemed to be happy to give you whatever assistance you needed,I loved that academic and physical studies where both given high regard, and we went on several field trips and school excursions whilst I attended the school.I felt safe from bullying and was taught to respect others and myself.Great Scool all up! |
