Rugby Public School is a small isolated school serving children from rural backgrounds. As a small school it has enabled a very close interaction between staff and students to develop. The school is committed to the development of positive self esteem and self discipline. It is very welfare conscious with regard to the children, staff, parents and the broader community. Rugby Public School seeks to meet the individual educational needs of all students as well as providing social and cultural experiences to overcome the isolation that can exist when living in a small rural community. In seeking to meet these needs a positive relationship has been forged with neighbouring schools with similar circumstances.
