| Rookhurst School aims to ensure each child achieves his or her potential in a challenging and secure environment. Our small school develops co-operation, tolerance and social interaction between all students within the whole school where peer support is an integral part of the school climate. The school, which is well resourced, provides a stimulating and rewarding educational environment. Students are able to access the latest technology providing both fundamental knowledge and enhanced skills considered necessary to participate in modern society. Each student is assisted to maximise his or her potential through both individual learning programs and group activities. A spirit of co-operation amongst students develops an appreciation of the worth of all. Students work with those from other small schools in academic, sporting and social activities which give them contact with their peers and assists in overcoming any perceived disadvantages of isolation. Students develop a social awareness, mature judgment, responsible self direction, moral awareness and self discipline. | ||||

| High teacher to student ratio. Excellent teachers. Facilities of the School are beyond most schools dreams. Massive community support. High student academic achievements. Real parent involvement Beautiful grounds and surrounding area. Great playground equipment. You could not send your children to a better public school. | Can't think of any | This school is just the best school in our area, it is such a shame that the State Government is wanting to close this fabulous little school to gain revenue, because this year its enrolments are low. | ||
