Riverstone Public School was established in 1883, is situated on 3 sites and caters for the needs of the students from 4 years to 13 years. The $5.8M 'one site' consolidation including new buildings and facilities and refurbishment of present buildings has commenced and is to be completed in 2002. Stage One of the consolidation is now complete with Years 1 to 4 on the Elizabeth Site and Kindergarten and Years 5 and 6 on the Piccadilly Site. The school also incorporates a Special Education Unit and Preschool. It also provides opportunities for both Gifted and Talented students and students in need of extra support. In partnership with the local community the school aims to provide students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for lifelong learning experiences
