Raleigh Public School serves a diverse community, defined by a philosophy of learning rather than by geography. The school is highly valued and supported by parents and the local community. Towards the end of 1999 the school was presented with a Director-General's Award for school - community partnerships. The school's stated aim is to 'provide a stimulating, supportive learning environment which encourages students to discover and fulfil their personal potential'. The school seeks to promote the positive academic, social and emotional development of each individual through the many and varied programs and support networks. An integrated, student-centred curriculum is implemented throughout the school by caring, dedicated and enthusiastic teachers who bring warmth, imagination and integrity to teaching and learning.
