Prairievale Public School is a large multicultural school with a huge diversity of cultures and language backgrounds. There are over forty eight different nationalities represented in the school and although enrolment numbers have continued to drop in recent years, the percentage of Non English Speaking Background families has risen from 70% to 89%. Educational programs stress the need for tolerance and understanding between all groups. The school is committed to developing the individual's confidence, pride, loyalty, integrity and sensitivity. We provide a safe, caring and supportive environment in which the individual is valued and respected. Parents are also recognised as having a huge impact on the successful education of our children and are continuously encouraged to participate in the many areas of school life.
