| Penshurst Public School in 2000 is proudly celebrating its 75th anniversary as a centre of learning. The school is situated approximately one kilometre from the Hurstville City Centre in a rapidly changing area. There has been a major building program over the past three years, which has provided the students with modern, attractive classrooms and excellent facilities such as a new hall, administration block and library with all rooms networked for Internet access. The school's motto is "Aim High" and this is embodied in programs which encourage student empowerment and challenging learning programs, backed up by parental participation in learning and positive social relationships. | ||||
