Parramatta East P.S. serves a diverse community with students from over 38 countries representing 71% non-English speaking backgrounds. The school receives strong community support and we are currently undergoing dramatic developments right across the school including upgrading of air-conditioning, brand new rubber soft fall around the fixed equipment and improvements in all classrooms including new carpet, blinds and resources.
Parramatta East focuses on developing the individual child to achieve their best. The past 4 years have seen outstanding results in the Basic Skills Testing program and this year 25% of our year 6 students gained entry into selective high school.
Before and after school care, and vacation care during the holidays and on pupil-free days is available on site in our newly refurbished performing arts room.
