Padstow Heights Public School is situated in a well established residential area in the south west of Sydney. The school was established in 1954 and has grown from its initial enrolment of 133 to an enrolment of 351 in 2000. The school is located in picturesque surroundings, has close ties with its community and has a reputation for its student welfare, literacy, numerary, performing arts and sporting programs. Padstow Heights Public School is committed to the development of each pupil to his/her potential. This will be achieved through providing a well managed school with professional and caring staff and a supportive School Council and Parents and Citizens Committee. The effective implementation of a relevant, sequential and comprehensive curriculum in an environment which is secure and conducive to learning backs these relationships up.
