Orama Public School is a small, family oriented school. It is the focus of many community activities. Parents and community members involved in the school come from diverse cultural backgrounds. The school is set in beautiful bush surroundings next to the Bellinger River which is utilised for swimming and learning activities. An appreciation of, and an interaction with, the environment form the basis of many school programs. The school aims to ensure the positive development of each student within a supportive, caring environment. The school motto "Together in Friendship, We Learn" encompasses all areas of school life.
