Northbridge Primary School is located on a bush headland above Middle Harbour. It enjoys a spectacular outlook and offers a wide range of educational, cultural and recreational facilities. The school was established in 1923. The school is an ideal size, large enough to provide a diversity of educational activities and yet small enough for individuals to be nurtured in a caring environment. Each student has the opportunity to become a participant with self-esteem being developed through active involvement and recognition. The buildings and beautiful grounds are very well maintained thanks to the support of our community. Students have daily access to both our tennis courts and adjacent Northbridge Oval. The school's mission statement was developed in 1992 by teachers, parents and student representatives. It states that: 'Northbridge Primary School is a community of students, teachers and parents striving to achieve excellence in a caring environment.' We are committed to providing a balanced and enriched curriculum whereby the individual student is challenged and developed through stimulating programs and policies. We promote the values of courtesy, honesty and respect for the rights of others.
