| | Nillo Infants School was established in 1920 and continues a long tradition in the local community of Lorn. The school provides young students with a small, friendly and caring environment in a Kindergarten to Year 2 situation. Our main emphasis is on a supportive, caring start to school, with small classes and individualised programs achieving high academic standards. Learning programs focus on English and mathematics with varied cultural, social and sporting activities within and outside the school. Students take part across Kindergarten to Year 2 in music groups performing for the community and are grouped for reading and mathematics. In this way, students work together according to their ability and can achieve to their full potential. Students are introduced to computers in Kindergarten and have continued access through to Year 2. The school receives strong community and parental support.

| Fantastic staff, lots of parental involvement, large community input, very supportive of individual needs, children are happy, settled and well adjusted, offers great opportunities in extra curricular learning. | Yet to encounter any. | I have found this school to be a place of contented and sucessful learning, where staff are all super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and part of the school. |
