Nemingha Public School was established in 1877, but was relocated in 1995 to its present site. It is in a rural setting, 10 km from the city of Tamworth. Following a number of years of rapid growth, it has now reached its maximum enrolment level. It is the philosophy of this school that pupils learn best in an atmosphere which is dynamic, stimulating and secure, both in the intellectual and physical sense. Accordingly, pupils are educated in a caring environment where motivation and support are provided by staff, parents and interested community members. Our school is a community school, family oriented and committed to the provision of the highest quality educational programs for its pupils. Pupils, staff and community members strive together to further their educational achievements. There is partnership between parents and staff. Accordingly we expect that communication should always be open. We recognise that any questions asked of each other by partners are valid and should be treated with respect.
