Lane Cove West PS attracts enrolment enquiries from its wider community as it offers high quality learning programs within a pleasant physical environment, with abundant shade trees and expansive playground areas. It provides the "intimacy" of a small school where students and parents work together towards a common goal - "providing high quality education in a safe, caring learning environment". Many visitors have commented on the positive tone and culture that pervades the school.
