Lake Munmorah Public School provided a comprehensive education to over 600 students. Distinctive features included a strong support for learners program which assisted students needing remediation, support for social and behaviour difficulties, gifted and talented, students with disabilities in mainstream classes and pre-schoolers in our early intervention unit. Our school community has together formed a beliefs statement which we hold as a true reflection of everyday life at our school. We believe that our students can experience success in a caring, encouraging and safe environment. As they grow they learn -respect and tolerance; responsibility; to be active contributors to their school and wider communities; to grow in self-esteem; to know, value and protect the environment; to be skilled in the use of technology; to think for themselves; to be equipped to cope with change; to have competence in all the key learning areas and take opportunities in the extra-curricula fields.
