| Koonawarra PS is located near the shores of Lake lllawarra in the western suburbs of Wollongong. The school caters for students from preschool to Year 6. From its inception Koonawarra PS has received additional financial and educational support from the Priority Schools Funding Program, formerly known as the Disadvantaged Schools Program. Grounded in the local traditions of pride, loyalty and a fair go for all. Koonawarra PS recognises that productive educational experiences provide the key for young people to realise individual aspirations and life choices. | a couple of the teachers are ok | teacher have little or no respect from the sudents,most of the teachers cannot be bothered to dress for work ,(they wear clothing most of us would wear to decorate )ie unironed baggy denim short which show off the bum cracks,ripped or stained blouses.they do not have the ability to control children without yelling like banshees. | dont send your child here | ||
