Kinchela Public School is committed to developing student potential by providing an education that is balanced, rewarding and enjoyable. In all programs there is an emphasis on the development of self esteem and caring. Kinchela School serves three distinct community groups. They are the small village and farming community of Kinchela, the seaside village of Hat Head and the children and families from Benelongs Haven, a family drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre.
